Tuesday, March 16 - Cindy's Make & Take - (5PM - 7PM) - $25.00

 

Includes the kit, dinner and of course, the wine.  The team of Cindy and Sharon is back.

Sharon will be teaching her new pattern called "Big Foot".  It is a foot rest for your sewing machine foot pedal.

It is designed to keep your foot pedal from slipping on the floor, and yes, it just happens to look like a flip-flop.

Cindy will be there too doing the cooking and lending moral support.

 Wednesday, March 17 - Pillowcase Class - (11AM-1PM) - $20.00

 

Back by popular demand, is Cindy's Pillowcase Class.

The kit is included in this class to make your first pillowcase.

This is a great project for beginners or those wanting to try something different.

Monday, March 22 - Quillow Class - (11AM-2PM) - $25.00 

 

You ask, What's a Quillow? 

Basically, it is a quilt that folds up into a pocket and makes a pillow.  This is a quilt you will use.

The pocket is a great place to put warm your feet when using the quilt.

They are great for sitting in front of the fire and watching TV and great for travel.

Kids love them too!

Thursday, March 25 - Basic Hand Embroidery Class - (11AM-2PM) - $25.00 

 

Many of you have expressed interest in learning the basic hand embroidery stitches. 

Join Gwen as she teaches this class.  If you have seen Gwen's Patriotic Quilt, you know she

is the best one to teach this class.

Friday, March 26 - Hand Quilting - (10AM - 2PM)

 

Ora Maye Botsford is back to teach this wonderful hand quilting class.  If you inhereted a wonderful

hand pieced quilt top and want to finish it or if you just want to learn how to hand quilt, Ora Maye will

teach you.  She is one of the best!  Class is also offerred April 22.

Monday, March 29 - Borders and Binding Class - (11AM - 3PM) - $25.00

 

Many of you who just finished your 2009 Block of the Month quilt have asked for this, so it is

 back by popular demand.  The Borders and Binding Class will help you answer the age old questions.

"I finished piecing my quilt top, now what do I do". Or, "I got my quilt back from the quilter, how do I do a binding".

If you are a beginner and have just completed your first quilt top, this class is a must. 

You will learn from Gwen the best way to finish your quilt.

Tuesday, March 30 - Boho Bag Class - (10AM - 2PM) - $25.00 

 

Do you have a charm pack or two in your stash.  Sharon will be teaching you

how to turn these simple 5 " squares into a great bag.  If you don't have scraps, we

have kits available.

Wednesday, April 7, 14, 21, & 28 - Basis Piecing 101 - (5PM - 7PM) - $60.00

Attention all beginners.  If you have always wanted to learn how to quilt, but were afraid to try,

this is the class for you.  Gwen will teach you how to use a rotary cutter and the proper techniques for cutting.  

The class is divided into 4 parts for the low cost of $60.00.  You will use a Jelly Roll

to make your first quilt.  Stop by the shop before class to pick up any supplies you may need.

Monday, April 12 - Spring Jacket Class - (11AM - 3PM) - $30.00

Come join Gwen and make a spring rag jacket with an Alford Inn exclusive pattern.

Wednesday, May 26 - Crazy Quilt Embellishing Class - (10AM - 4PM) - $75.00

Back by Popular Demand!  Susan Eggelston will be teaching you beautiful hand stitches, ribbon embroidery,

beading and decorative embellishing.  All you will be required to have is scissors!  The class price includes

a kit with needles, a premade block and all the embellishments you will use.  Please bring your lunch.
